I was born in a “Norman Rockwellian” town to two loving and supportive parents. Although it may be hard to believe, I did actually walk two miles to school…up hill…both ways and since it was Pennsylvania, there was occasionally snow (but I had shoes). I was an avid Partridge Family Fan Club member and suffered the normal “Jan Brady-esque” trauma of being a middle child, except my older sibling was a brother, but that didn’t stop me from wearing his clothes. After graduation from Penn State with a BS in Business Management, I worked for IBM before joining the Navy, which brought me to San Diego. I have a wonderfully talented and intelligent daughter, Megan, who shares my joy of reading, writing, and acting. At this point in my life, I’ve decided to go for what brings me joy – entertaining, informing, and helping people and according to some people…talking! |

Hi
my name is Carrie. You can call me a true native of sunny
San Diego because I was born and raised right here. I grew
up as an only child and because of this I decided that I
would have two of my own. My oldest child is Jena. She is
eleven years old and is the drama queen of our family. Then
there is my son Tyler, who is eight and quite the philosopher.
They both keep me busy. Being with family is very important
to me. One of my fun passions in life is my ladybug collection.
Ever since I was a teenager I have loved to collect ladybug
stuff. You should see my office; fully equipped with ladybug
paperweight, post-it holder, and tape dispenser. Old Town
Trolley Tours is a fun place to work and I’m happy
to be here. |

I was born and
raised in San Diego. Growing up with my mother and older
sister, I loved to act and dance. After spending the majority
of my childhood entertaining, I began to mature and find
new interests. The study of history (ancient civilizations)
and theology became fascinating hobbies. Currently in school
pursuing a degree in history. I would love the opportunity
to become a curator. I love to go on hikes and road trips.
I enjoy meeting and spending time with genuine, kind people. In August 2008, I married my sweetheart who I've been with since I was 15. I am so blessed and happy to be here. |

I was raised
north of Santa Barbara in a town called Lompoc. I moved to
San Diego in 1998 when I joined the Coast Guard. After enjoying
almost five years in it, I left in 2003 to go to school.
I received my AS in Business. I decided to postpone my pursuit
of a bachelor’s degree to get back out into the work
force. I was fortunate
to get hired on here at Old Town Trolley Tours with a group
of amazing people. I have a beautiful son who keeps me happy
and grounded. We enjoy going to the beach, camping, sports,
and spending time with family and friends. |

Hi! My name
is Erica. I was born the youngest of seven children in Mexico
City and lived there for a few years before moving to St,
Louis, Missouri. Although I have spent every summer of my
life in Coronado, my family officially moved there in 1991.
I graduated from Coronado High School Class of ’94
and then pursued my college education at San Diego State
University. After two years at State I decided to try something
completely different so I moved to Barbados which is a tiny
little island in the Caribbean. I spent the next two years
of my life owning/operating a beach bar & restaurant
on the shore of the Caribbean Sea. This, amidst all of the
hard work, was a great learning experience! After suffering
from homesickness I moved back home to San Diego in ’98.
Later that year is when I started with Old Town Trolley as
a “summer job” until
I went back to school in the fall. 10 years later…I’m
still here and I can say that I truly love my job; I have
fun and enjoy everyone I work with! |

I was born in Concord, New
Hampshire and very fortunate to be part of a set of twin
boys. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire with
a degree in Communications and after graduation followed
the sun to San Diego. My first job was at Sea World for the
summer and then I worked as a Concierge at The Sheraton Harbor
Island for almost 10 years. I also served as the President
of The San Diego Concierge Association for two years as well.
I have been with Old Town Trolley Tours for 9 years and can
honestly say that I love my job and truly enjoy coming to
work every day! |

My career highlight was working for the Florentine Opera
Company and performing with Beverly Sills in the opera, “The
Daughter of the Regiment” as the Duchess of Krackenthorpe.
My outside interests are my grandchildren, traveling, and
visiting with friends and family. |

A summer visit to San Diego
20 years ago and I fell in love with the city. I’ve
been a resident going on 17 years now. I was born in Des
Moines, Iowa but grew up in the hot desert of Tucson, Arizona.
In high school I was involved in numerous singing groups
and practiced magic as a hobby. These days I like to spend
time with friends being outdoors working in the yard and
landscaping. Doing anything creative! I also love nature.
Oh yeah and my big black cat, Bishop, too! |

Yolanda was born and raised in San Diego, California. Although San Diego has always been a place she calls home, she dreams of one day traveling the world.
In her free time she enjoys her two loves: her parrots, Chiquita and Domingo, and getting outdoors. She also has two daughters, one teenager and one in the Air Force. Currently she is taking on some new projects such as redesigning the backyard and trying to make her home eco friendly. |

I was born and raised right here in San Diego! I love this town. Within one hour, you can be in the desert, mountains, or ocean, and the weather is perfect year round! What could be better? World-class attractions are an integral part of the San Diego landscape, making it the best all around city in the world! I am so proud to associate myself with Old Town Trolley Tours! What we do is basically show off our town, which is what I love to do. |

I was born in San Diego and grew up in National City. My husband and I both went to St. Mary’s Elementary School and Sweetwater High School. We’ve been married since 1971 and have three grown children. We also have three grandsons. I worked for Old Town Trolley Tours for two years as a Conductor, left for a few years, came back as a SEAL First Mate and am now in Sales. I hope to be here for a long time. In my spare time, I love to cook (and eat), read, and garden. |

I’ve been a Southern Californian since birth and a San Diegan since 1993. I’m a big fan of my city – its climate, its character, and its history. I love the beaches, the zoo, Balboa Park, and a good California burrito now and then.
I came aboard after three years with the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau – helping to run its visitor centers and writing for its tourism blog – but I am an Old Town Trolley fan from way back. I truly believe in its importance as the keeper of San Diego’s oral history and I’m proud to be a part of that. |
