St. Augustine’s 445th Birthday Celebration
Founder’s Day events begin at 9:00 a.m. and include a reenactment of the Spanish landing, mass at the outdoor altar at Mission de Nombre de Dios (27 Ocean Avenue, 904-824-2809), and dedication of the new Mission museum. Other events include a real Thanksgiving cooking contest at the Fountain of Youth (11 Magnolia Avenue, 904-829-3168) at 4:45 p.m. A Spanish encampment will be onsite at the Fountain as well.
