At the present time, we have a portion of our trolleys that are wheelchair accessible. Due to safety concerns, there are a number of stops that do not safely permit loading and unloading; however, we will accommodate our guests whenever possible.
We are happy to provide this service but ask for a few small accommodations to allow us to do so with the utmost safety and minimal impact on other guests utilizing our services. We request that you give us as much notice as possible as to your arrival date and the time you’d like to take the tour (24 hours notice preferred). This will assure that a properly equipped vehicle will be made available. Please arrive at a designated (agreed upon) stop no later than 15 minutes prior to your departure time so that we can accomplish the boarding process smoothly and safely.
As always, collapsible wheelchairs are permitted on any of our Trolleys and all of our CASTmembers are willing and able to assist with the loading.
Currently the only stops that will safely accommodate loading and unloading are: 1, 6, 10, 16, 17, 17A and 20. (Please note that stop 17A is only open during cruise ship ports of call.) Again, this is a safety concern so that the lifts can be deployed on level surfaces with adequate space, out of the line of direct vehicle traffic. To take advantage of these accommodations, we ask that you secure your own transportation to one of the above listed locations. (Again, please give notice of which stop so that we can meet you there with one of our wheelchair equipped Trolleys. Our office phone number in Boston is 617-269-7150.) We look forward to having you on Boston’s Best Sightseeing Tour. |
