Cathy’s Triple Chocolate Cookies

Just in case your travels don’t find you in Boston before April, Cathy Hutchinson, Old Town Trolley Tours of Boston’s Vendor Representative, has passed on one of her favorite chocolate recipes to us. If this doesn’t satisfy your craving for chocolate, nothing will.

chocolate cookies1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 firmly packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

1 tablespoon milk

2 1/4 cups flour

1/3 cup cocoa

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 bag (9 oz.) Hershey Kisses, unwrapped

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until blended. Add eggs and milk; beat well. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, blending well. Stir in chocolate chips. Shape into one-inch balls. Place on un-greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 11 minutes. Cool 1 minute; remove to wire rack. Press Kisses into center of each cookie. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.

Join Our Boston Ghosts & Gravestones Cast

So do you think you have what it takes to be one of the undead?
Do you want to make the transition from Working Stiff into Stiffly Working?

Do you tell morbid stories to your co-workers and have them give you strange looks and not invite you to company parties? Does the idea of watching a romantic comedy make you want to hurl yourself from a forty story window? Do you dream of camping out in a graveyard by yourself – in the dead of night – and (this time) get paid for it?

gravedigger holding sword and lanternWe want to add your distinctive strangeness to our own.

Believe it or not, you get paid! - Competitive hourly wage plus tips.

We hire both full time and part time - Mostly nights and weekend shifts.
