Petco Park aerialOn this stop, you'll see the magnificent Petco Park ballpark, home of the San Diego Padres. Known for its architectural brilliance, the ballpark was created to capture the sun, sky, sea and natural beauty of San Diego. For those who love baseball, it boasts the best sight lines along with amenities that would please even the most discriminating fan.

San Diego skyline and oceanAnd with its gorgeous waterfront locale in the heart of downtown San Diego, the Marriott Hotel and Marina is a sight to be seen - If you’re residing here during your stay, it’s a convenient way to catch the Old Town Trolley Tour of San Diego. There’s a hub of activity to view in the harbor, and right next door is the spectacular San Diego Convention Center where a variety of events, conventions and special activities take place throughout the year.

Take a moment to gaze at the colorful, whimsical work of art by Niki de St. Phalle. Her statue titled Coming Together stands 38-feet high in front of the San Diego Convention Center. A ceramic and mirror mosaic, Coming Together portrays a human face divided in half with one side mirrored and the other side multi-colored.

While passing the Martin Luther King Jr. Promenade, more inspired artwork is sure to catch your eye, including the Breaking the Chains sculpture which was designed to represent breaking the chains of hatred among all mankind. Its creator, Melvin Edwards, hopes to instill Martin Luther King Jr’s message of hope and peace among all who view it.

Children's Park in San DiegoAnd for our little guests, a stop at the Children’s Park and Pond will be a treat. Grassy hills and knolls are perfect for rolling down, while the beautiful blue pond surrounds squirting bamboo stalks sure to refresh any playful participant.
