See the Best First! Welcome aboard Old Town Trolley Tours of Nashville! Enjoy a comprehensive, fully narrated tour like you’ve never imagined! When you think of Nashville, you might picture a stage full of sparkling legends like Dolly and Porter, Willie and Waylon and Johnny and June but, Nashville is so much more than that! Nashville is cave-dwelling fur traders, pioneering physicians and even saber-toothed tigers. Yes, saber-toothed tigers! From the first hunter-gather tracking game along the Cumberland to the last musician to step off a bus with nothing but a guitar and a dream, Nashville has been a draw for those with extraordinary talent and courage. They’ve all had a hand in making this city the rich and vibrant place you’ve come to experience. Climb aboard and let us tell you all about it. Let’s go see Nashville!!!
Our fleet of colorful orange-and-green trolleys travel through Nashville on a twelve-mile loop. Start your tour at 201 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37210, and enjoy our fascinating narrative of the history of ‘Music City’. We will make one 20-minute stop so you can visit the Nashville Farmers’ Market and Bicentennial Mall State Park. Then continue the fun until we circle back to where we started. The entire tour should take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
In addition to safeguarding over two million artifacts, the museum’s recently expanded building features over 64,000 square feet of gallery space in which the story of country music is told with permanent and limited-engagement exhibitions.
Touring the two floors of the museum’s gallery spaces, guests will follow the evolution of country music, within the context of American history. Biographical panels and audio tours tell the stories of those who have shaped the music, from Jimmie Rodgers to Hank Williams, through Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton, to Garth and Reba, and beyond.
Many artifacts from today’s groundbreaking artists are on display in the contemporary gallery space. Visitors of all ages discover connections between country music’s past and artists of today, and will have a chance to engage with interactive stations that will allow guests to become “Certified Country.” Highlights include recording and song writing areas, a forty-foot guitar, trivia, and more.
The safety and well-being of our guests and team members remain our highest priority.
While we want you to enjoy your tour, relax and have fun, it is our goal that you do this in a safe environment. We are glad you chose to tour with us and see the wonderful city of Nashville, Tennessee.
