Legacy Park

Legacy Park is one of the newest green spaces in downtown San Antonio. It opened in 2018 on land that was once part of the city’s early business district. The park was built to add more open space to downtown and to give people an easy place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. There are wide lawns, shaded benches, and walking paths that make it a nice spot to take a break or go for a short walk. Food trucks and musicians often stop by, and small community events take place throughout the week. The park also features the “Legacy” sculpture by local artist Anne Wallace, a striking public art piece that reflects San Antonio’s history and sense of community. With its mix of open space, local art, and nearby cafés, Legacy Park has become a comfortable gathering place in the middle of downtown.
