How does the city tour work?
The city tour is a fantastic way to discover the best of Charleston. The city tour is fully narrated by expert guides well-versed in the history, legend, and lore of Charleston. The guide and vehicle will stay with you at each designated stop for a seamless tour experience. Begin and finish your journey at either the Charleston Visitor Center or the Charleston City Market. The tour runs approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes in length.
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are required. Reservation-based tickets are non-refundable. You may reschedule up to 24 hours in advance of tour time.
What age qualifies for a child ticket?
City Tour: 4-12 years. Children under 4 ride free.
Can you accommodate handicapped passengers?
Yes. Please phone in advance so that we may best accommodate you. Our phone number is 854-222-7311. For more information, please go to accessibility services.
How can I rent a vehicle for my group?
The Old Town Trolley team, part of the Historic Tours of America Group Sales office can give you information on groups and renting our vehicles for special events. They can be reached at 854-264-8687. For small groups, our Internet discount may be the best option.

How can I get a refund for my ticket?

I could not use my ticket. What should I do?
For guests who have purchased tickets directly from our website, we offer a Modify Booking Tool. Guests may change their reservation one time at no charge*. However, the guest is fully responsible if the fare price for the new date/time selected is more expensive. Refunds are not issued where ticket prices have decreased due to promotions or where the date/time selected is less expensive. Changes are subject to availability.
