Annual Tybee Mardi Gras Celebration
Celebrate Mardi Gras as our festive family-friendly parade rolls down Butler Avenue onto Tybrisa Street. Parade will begin at 2pm and the route will begin at Memorial Park and follow Butler Avenue to Tybrisa. After the parade will be a costume contest in which the winners will be crowned the 2019 Mardi Gras Tybee King and Queen! The King and Queen will then host the street dance fun with music! Spectators: the parade will travel south on Butler and head towards the beach on Tybrisa St. Be sure to visit the local shops and restaurants as you’re waiting to catch your beads.

Tybee Island Irish Heritage Celebration Parade
Tybee Island will be decked out in green with a family-friendly parade including floats, marchers and musical bands. This fun, family-friendly event is done in a unique, quirky way that only Tybee Island can do, and families are encouraged to dress in green and celebrate.
