Journey through time as you visit Colonial Park Cemetery, the oldest existing cemetery in Savannah, where your host will share the tales of the residents buried within. From there you will continue through the city to experience an exclusive nighttime entrance into the Isaiah Davenport House, one of the oldest brick structures in the city built in the 1820s. Upon entry, a guide will direct you through the museum sharing the history of the documented spirits. The Isaiah Davenport House is a 3-story Georgian-style home on Columbia Square whose former occupant, the celebrated architect of its namesake, was a highly-regarded member of Savannah society. After marrying a local girl, he proceeded to have 10 children with her. Sadly, only 6 survived, and it is said the spirits of the other four haunt this home to this very day. There is also telling of a long dead feline that still prowls the property and a ghostly child who has been seen walking through the garden and staring out of the window of the upper floors.
So, intrepid traveler, better catch some zzzzzzs because, after your visit to Ghost Town, you may never sleep again!
Here’s all that small print stuff you may want to look over.
