Our Trolley Guests Have Spoken!
A comedy show on wheels that roasts nearly 300 years of Savannah lore in just 90 minutes
A witty, outrageous history lesson, perfect for morons and their smarter-er friends, this tour features outrageously entertaining comedy skits, musical numbers, costume changes, a few absurd appearances, and loads of Savannah history. Hosted by the infamous Moron Twins, Dannie and Danny Moron, this mad romp around Savannah will give you all the inside gossip on practically every important moment that has transpired throughout Savannah’s deep, complex, and intoxicated past and present, from the founding of the colony of Georgia to the Civil War and from little known Paula Deen trivia to why every tourist must take a selfie on the Forrest Gump bench.
Savannah for Morons, The Trolley Tour started out as a twinkle in the eye of the Moron Brothers (aka John Brennan and Dan Gilbert). You see, the Moron Brothers have been performing comedy around New York and Savannah for the last 15 years or so. They were also tour guides and history buffs and loved to wax poetic about Savannah’s quirky, weird and ridiculous history. After writing the stage production with Front Porch Improv and having many sold out shows, the Moron Brothers did something far from moronic. They decided to create a one-of-a-kind comedy trolley experience that combines jokes, music, history and wigs.
