I grew up with my mother, father, and little sister. I got good with animals since my mother grooms and kennels dogs for a living. My father played music a lot. My sister and I grew up in a creative family environment, so I was always writing and drawing. I still am! When I’m not doing that, I’m enjoying a video game or show or visiting my friends and doing the same with them. I came to Ghosts & Gravestones for a new experience and to enjoy the history.

I’m a film & TV major in SCAD’s class of 2025, and I moved down here in 2020. My dad recently moved from deep in the mountains of Colorado. I’m hoping to direct comedy movies and work with passionate and talented actors. For the past three months, I’ve been skateboarding around the Lake Mayer Park loop. It started off as something to fill my time, but it became an inspiration to work on myself. I’ve been working out every day as well. So, if you see me one day looking ripped, you know why! I came to Ghosts & Gravestones because, and this might be a little too honest, my mom sent a job posting and said I “better start making money before I force you to move back home.” So, here I am! 🙂

I come from a relatively small southern family. My mother is a home health nurse and my dad works as a designer for a construction company. I have two younger siblings, a sister who plans on being a nail tech and a brother who has plans of enlisting after graduation. My family is my rock and could not be more loving! I am a third-year fashion design student with interests in fine art, jewelry & fashion design, and singing. I also enjoy all things scary and otherwise “macabre!” As a normally introverted person, I saw this position with Old Town Trolley as a new way to break out of my shell and learn more about what fascinates me– the spooky side of Savannah!

I moved to Savannah with my wife and served as an editor of a weekly newspaper and two monthly magazines in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. I enjoy reading everything from novels, nonfiction, historic newspapers, to restaurant menus. The American Prohibition Museum is enlightening, compelling, and full of unexpected revelations. I am a textile artist and astrologer who loves all things supernatural. I graduated from SCAD in 2023 with my BFA in Fibers. I currently live in Savannah with my younger sister, Elizabeth, and my cat, Éclair de Lune. I am a weaver and I like to study historical weaving techniques. Folklore surrounding textiles is another fascination of mine! So many of our myths involve fiber, looms, and weaving! I also study astrology and like to help others make sense of their lives via the stars. My interest in folklore and the supernatural combined with my affinity for storytelling and previous experience as a tour guide led me directly to Old Town Trolley!

I am the fifth generation born and raised in this beautiful city. My grandmother influenced my love of the city along with my love of our history. My most favorite thing to do is to spend the day at the beach and fishing. I started with Old Town Trolley in 2005. I was looking for a fun job that was also outside. I met a wonderful group of people that has become my chosen family.

I am a Savannah native with a passion for history and preservation. I have a background in real estate sales and my family is involved in commercial & residential renovation. In my downtime, I enjoy anything on the water—from kayaking to sailing. I was in food & beverage for twenty years, so, naturally, I enjoy dining out at new establishments. I came to Old Town Trolley because of a desire to help guests of our city discover the rich history it has to offer.

I grew up in California with my parents and sister. I worked in New Zealand for 3 years as a tour driver and then found a job working in Antarctica for 3 seasons. I met my husband working in Antarctica and followed him here to Savannah! I love gardening, playing with my dog Rocky, and spending time with my husband Will and our rambunctious nieces and nephews in my spare time. I had already been working in tourism for years, so when I moved to Savannah, I knew I wanted to continue with that. I found Old Town Trolley and it was a perfect fit! I’ve been a conductor, a sales representative, and recently got the opportunity to manage our newest tour, Ghost Hunters of Savannah!

I was born in Beaufort and raised on various military bases and red clay dirt roads. My dad was a Marine Corps drill instructor, and my mother was a nurse. I’ve always been a storyteller and love learning the local lore and legends wherever I am. I soak up supernatural stories like a sponge; I have an undying love of horror movies. I’ve seen all the ones you’ve heard of, and most of the ones you haven’t. I’m a writer, artist, podcaster, and voice actor. I also love to cook! Savannah is my favorite place on Earth, hands down. Of all the tours I’ve taken, Old Town Trolley is the best one with the best information so I jumped at the opportunity to join the CAST.

My wife, Shayna, and I live in Hardeeville, SC, with our goldendoodle, Iris. I like to read, play video games, and work on cars. I recently took up growing bonsai trees. I was looking for a mechanic position with a fun, energetic company, and that’s how I ended up at Old Town Trolley.

I was born and raised in Savannah as a fourth-generation Savannahian! I attended Savannah Arts Academy and then Armstrong Atlantic State University for theatre, where I met my wonderful wife, Paige, in 2011. Over a decade later, we’re raising the two best sons we could ever ask for: Elliot and Henry. I’m a big fan of all things sci-fi, and some of my favorite series are Star Wars, Harry Potter, and anything Disney. It doesn’t get any better than passing on my love of these classic stories on to my kids and watching them love the things that I have loved ever since I was their age. My time with Old Town Trolley started thanks to some amazing friends who already worked here and said so many wonderful things. I can now confirm for myself: the wonderful things were true!

I am the oldest of eight. I received my undergraduate education with a B.A. in History and my M.A. in History at Georgia Southern University. I enjoy writing and have written seven books in philosophy and four in history. I like genealogy, and I constantly browse ancestry sites. I am into archaeogenetics and the study of paleoanthropology. I came to the American Prohibition Museum because of my love for history and desire to communicate it to the public in a museum setting. I love museums, and I completed my professional internship at the Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, where I recorded interviews of veterans’ experiences during WWII.

For over 9 years, I’ve worked with Ghosts & Gravestones, being creepy and laughing manically in the dark. I’m a collector of all sorts of 80s paraphernalia and spooky things. I also enjoy reading and movies, particularly B-grade sci-fi. When I came here, I had just left a job in photography. My dad had been with the company for about a year and encouraged me to apply. The rest is history, as they say.

I am a deeply passionate lover of life and people. I grew up in St. Louis, found my wife there, and then we spent 30 years living in New Hampshire, raising our five wonderful children. I taught special education for fourth grade through high school and painted houses in the summers. I’ve been very involved with scouting and all four of my boys and I are Eagle Scouts. I love hiking, backpacking, photography, computers, sharing my faith, biking, genealogy, geocaching, and SCUBA diving. My wife is a Ghost Host, Chandler, Caretaker, and Holiday Sights elf in the company. When I retired from teaching, she encouraged me to try being a sales rep/concierge. It has been a perfect fit for my love of sharing and teaching about Savannah.

I attended Chatham County Public Schools here in Savannah, and graduated in 1983 from Savannah High School. After high school, I started working at Coastal Chemicals and stayed there for 3 ½ years. In 1987, I had my first child, a girl named Janisha Jontae’ Brown.
In 1988, opportunity meant for me to work at Union Camp Corp. Working at Union Camp, I met my future husband, James Emerson Jr. We have two children, James Emerson III (5 years old), and Janae’ Briana Emerson (4 years old). We were married on May 10, 1996.
After my 2 children were old enough, I started working at Laidlaw Transit, around September of 1998. My hobbies are skating, swimming, walking, reading, listening to jazz, and spending time with my children. I feel wonderful being able to work here at Old Town Trolley.

My previous career was in retail, where I served as a general manager for 30+ years at Stein Mart and a district manager for the Salt Table. I went to high school and college in Savannah and came back to live here 15 years ago. My closest relative is my niece, who lives in Tallahassee, FL. I enjoy traveling and new adventures. I love to sew and have made many home décor, accessories, and clothes over the years. I also enjoy a good book and great food. I like to garden and work around my house, too. I was looking for a job where I could promote Savannah and put my customer service skills to use. My daughter is 16. Our family is small, but feels full: we have two dogs who really are family members themselves. We all moved to Savannah from northern Michigan after visiting and falling in love with the area. I love paranormal topics, anything to do with the “afterlife” or unexplained. I’m a retired Master Sergeant of 22 years from the USMC and US Army. I’ve been married 36 years and have three children, 2 boys and a girl, as well as 11 grandkids. I hold God and country to my heart and live by honor and loyalty. I enjoy photography, creating art, old cars, scuba diving, sky diving, and archery. I wanted to work for a company that is loyal and fair. I did a photo story in 2015 on River Street where I spoke to Old Town Trolley drivers and sales reps. All spoke highly of the company and I wanted to be a part of it.

I’m a Ghost Conductor. My wife, T, is a Sales Representative at Old Town Trolley and our son, Charr, is the Ghosts & Gravestones Program Manager. I had been working as Chief of Security for Honda when my father-in-law fell and hit his head. I was a first responder trainer by Honda so I left to care for my father-in-law for three years before he had to go to a home. Nothing out in West Georgia paid what I was making at Honda so Charr suggested I come to Savannah to work here.

I come from a big close knit family and we are all strange and unusual, having a child named Wednesday. I must make a pun: “We are creepy and we’re spooky.” I read and crochet and I love anything paranormal related. I’ve always wanted to give tours so I thought this was a great fit.

I was born and raised in Savannah, GA. I have three degrees in English & Education and I taught in public schools for eight years prior to entering the tourism industry. I have three cats, all of which are named after Addams Family characters. In addition to cats, I also love books, cheese, dry, white wines, shopping, and spooky things. I originally was interested in applying to be a paranormal investigator with the Ghost Hunters of Savannah attraction because I love spooky things, but when offered the opportunity to be part of the team at the American Prohibition Museum, it all sounded so fun and I said, “Sure!”

After working retail management for over a decade, I was ready for change. A fellow employee introduced me to OTT. My family moved to Savannah in the summer of 1994 when I was in middle school and we have called it home ever since. I moved back almost ten years ago from Asheville, NC after attending college in Greensboro, NC. I have worked in hospitality and tourism in one way or another since I was 15 years old! I’m also an artist in Savannah and have had my own studio for more than five years. I participate in local shows and also have an online store for my artwork. My main focus lately has been mixed media paintings, screenprinting, clothing, and photography. I also enjoy the outdoors and go to the movies at least once a week. I was born and raised in Savannah, GA, attended college in Macon, GA and lived in Greensboro, NC for a few years… only to realize I missed the coast and the beautiful city I’d always called home. I moved back to Savannah 20 years ago and left the banking industry to begin my HR career in home healthcare. I’d been wanting to work in hospitality/tourism for some time so when the opportunity to work for Old Town Trolley knocked, I answered! Working here allows me to pull from all aspects of who I am, both my business and creative sides. I am the mother of a wonderful teenage son. In my spare time, I enjoy line dancing with Romeo’s Dance Class, trying new restaurants, and listening to live music. An ideal day for me is relaxing on the beach followed by some spa time and Savannah is the perfect backdrop for both of those things. Working for Old Town Trolley helps me to see Savannah through not only the lens of a local, but also through an admiring view as a tourist and lover of this beautiful place.

I am happily married to the greatest woman I know. I came from a very tight knit family of six siblings. I’m the second child. I have no biological children in my life, but I’m everyone’s favorite uncle. I enjoy living a positive and creative life; this includes many different outlets. When I saw the movie “Pretty Woman” and loved the role of the concierge, I told myself, “I could do that!” The next day, I was introduced to OTT who was looking for a person like me to be a concierge. That was over 16 years ago!

I now work part-time at Old Town Trolley, and I really enjoy working for this company. I love cooking, reality TV shows, and gardening. I had been looking for part-time work where I could interact with people, and somebody suggested the trolley company. So, here I am!

I’m originally from New Jersey and moved to Hilton Head, SC in 2001. After bouncing around the Lowcountry for a few years, I moved to Savannah, GA in 2014 from Charleston, SC with my wife. I enjoy walking my dog and riding my bike through the different squares and side streets of downtown Savannah. I’m a huge sports fan with soccer and football being my favorite sports. I joined the Marine Corps at 17, traveled the world, and ended up in San Diego after 10 years in the Marine Corps. I became a firefighter in the San Diego area. In 2010, I moved to Savannah and am a local firefighter here. I founded the local Savannah Paranormal Investigator group and I have been to several known paranormal hotspots in Savannah and the Southeast. I have worked as a paranormal investigator for quite a few years and found Old Town Trolley was looking for one so here I am!

I’m a New Jersey native who’s been living in Savannah since coming down in 2010 for school and falling in love with the Hostess City. There are two places I’m always trying to get back to: the stage and out in nature. You can find me on various Savannah stages, specializing in Shakespeare but always down for any great story. I’m just a simple person with simple pleasures. My family likes animals and we have always had pets. I like history and mythology and I really love dinosaurs. I like to draw and listen to music as well as watch movies. My favorite kind are action and horror, especially if they involve monsters. I come from a very tight knit family of varying interests and hobbies, but we are all travelers and explorers at heart. We are weird but, hey, being normal is boring. I’m deep into genealogy and family history obsession. Anytime I get free time, I’m either browsing Ancestry.com, analyzing a document, or planning a research trip. I’ve always been a history geek so becoming interested in my own family history was inevitable. After a rough year, I was looking to return to the Savannah area. I happened to open a job portal on my phone and the docent position was the first listing. A few weeks later, I was looking for apartments!

I was raised in New York and came to Savannah for college. Upon my graduation, I found that I loved the city too much to leave. I am from a small family, living in the mountains, who always supported my creative side. I now live with my own family in a historic home outside of Bonaventure Cemetery. Outside of work, I am a graphic designer and love painting and crafting. I enjoy watching horror movies (sometimes too much) and listening to true crime podcasts. When at home, you can find me either with my nose in a book or re-watching the entire Star Wars series, always with a cup of tea.
