Freedom Trail – A Walk Into History 90-minute Tour

Walk Into History along the famous red line with an 18th-century costumed guide. The Freedom Trail is a 2.5 mile red-brick walking trail that leads you to 16 nationally significant historic sites, every one an authentic American treasure. It’s a unique collection of museums, churches, meeting houses, burying grounds, parks, a ship, and historic markers that tell the story of the American Revolution and beyond.

Stop #3: Due to state mandated construction on the Charlestown Bridge, Stop 3 may be closed without notice.

Daily tours at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm.

Times may vary depending on season.

Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.

Old State House

Open 7 days a week, 9am to 5pm. (Memorial Day through Labor Day till 6pm)

Closed New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Closed to the public for yearly maintenance the first Monday thru Friday in February.
