To see all the sights in the city without worrying about where to park or paying a taxi, get your seat aboard the Old Town Trolley Tour. You’ll travel around Key West without a care in the world and enjoy seeing more than 100 of the most popular sights and attractions. The tour allows you to hop-on and hop-off as much as you want and to stay as long as you wish at any of the stops. Trolleys come and go all day long and you can even spread your tour out over two days, making it easy and convenient to see all the sights in Key West.

Key West Sails to Rails Museum frontHop off the trolley and embark on a journey through Key West’s maritime past at the captivating Sails to Rails Museum. Discover the transition from sailboats to steamships and railways that shaped the island’s history. Explore artifacts, lift a real silver bar, and delve into maritime tales. Immerse yourself in Key West’s heritage with a Fort Jefferson diorama, offering a glimpse into its strategic importance.

Tour the City on a Bike

Several companies on the island offer Bike Tours, either with a guide or on your own. The guided tours are great fun and are lead by locals who know all the side streets and special ins and outs of the island. There are various tours offered, including eco tours where you can learn about the different tropical flowers and even taste some of the fruits that are indigenous to Key West. You can also rent a bike and explore on your own.

Hop in an Electric Car

Something fun and new to experience might be renting an electric car. There are a few companies that rent these vehicles and they’re a breezy way to explore the island.

Rent a Car

Key West is a small city but you’ll still find most, if not all, of the major car rental companies have offices on the island. Just be mindful of where you park, as many of the spots on the side streets are reserved for residents. You’ll get a ticket if you don’t park in the right place!

Cruise around by Boat

See Key West from the water with a private boat rental. Be your own captain or hire one to navigate the seas while you lay back and enjoy the views! Not interested in spending all day on the water? Try the Key West Water Taxi which shuttles guests from the north side of the island to the Historic Seaport.

Call a Cab or Limo Service

Of course, if all else fails, you can call a taxi or limo service. These services are available throughout the city and provide transportation to and from most of the major attractions. Fares and fees vary depending on the company you choose.
