Originally designed by the renowned New York landscape architect Bryant Fleming, the colorful gardens attract more than 175,000 visitors each year. Boasting breathtaking views of the nearby rolling hills, the 55-acre site features fountains, ponds and stone artwork. Guests can enjoy a variety of themed green spaces designed for specific purposes, including the herb garden, a Japanese garden and an award-winning wildflower garden. There is also a water garden, a color garden and two perennial gardens. The extensive collection of plants includes boxwoods, crape myrtles, Japanese maples and magnolias. Botanic Hall hosts horticultural events like flower shows and exhibits.
