The Savannah College of Art and Design presents the 20th Annual Savannah Film Festival, filled with cinematic creativity from both award-winning professionals and emerging student filmmakers. Mansion to Museum Tour at the Telfair Academy at 10 a.m. (Tues.-Sat.), 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Learn the incredible story of the transformation of the Telfair family mansion into the oldest public art museum in the South.
Tybee Island Light Station and Museum, Georgia’s oldest and tallest lighthouse, is open 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m., depending on weather conditions. We are a complete light station whose history dates back to 1736. The tower stands 145 feet tall and has three Light Keeper’s Cottages nearby. A small 1812 Summer Kitchen holds archaeological finds. Across the street is an 1899 Military Battery that houses the Tybee Island Museum. Exhibits cover the time of the Euchee tribe, the history of Fort Screven, Tybee’s Golden Era and more. A yellow raised cottage adjacent to the property showcases 1900s Tybee architecture.
Art Rise Savannah
Every first Friday of the month, Art Rise Savannah presents the First Friday Art March through the Victorian and Starland Districts of Savannah. Discover local art, music, food and culture all over Georgia’s First City by taking the free Art March Trolley to different galleries and shops around Forsyth Park and Past Forsyth Park. There is FREE entry to all of the First Friday Art March events! The First Friday Art March trolley picks up in approximately 20-minute intervals from 6-9 p.m.
March through November for all of Savannah to enjoy. We invite everyone to take the Free Ferry from River Street or park at the hotel to enjoy this local favorite. Guests will delight in specialty cocktails, enjoy coastal cuisine like oysters, Lowcountry boil and BBQ, dance to live music on the Riverfront Esplanade and catch the best views of the sunset and fireworks! First Friday for Folk Music

Savannah Folk Music Society Monthly presents at First Presbyterian Church each month. Festivities start at 7:30 p.m. and run until about 10 p.m. It is a smoke free, alcohol free and family friendly evening of music in a coffee house setting, regularly attended by an appreciative audience of folk music enthusiasts from the greater Savannah and surrounding area. A $5 minimum suggested donation is requested to support the event and other SFMS activities.
The Savannah Waterfront Association proudly hosts its fifth annual Hopped Up on Brews event on River Street’s waterfront! The event features local craft breweries, food and live music.
