Government Shutdown and Important Information

All effective January 2, 2019 all Smithsonian’s including the National Zoo are now closed until further notice. The National Gallery of Art and the Sculpture Garden are open today only (Jan. 2^nd) until 5:00pm and will be closed beginning January 3^rd.

The following are open for business: the Capitol Visitors Center, Botanic Garden, National Women’s Museum, Madame Tussauds, the Newseum, Museum of the Bibleand the National Law Enforcement Museum. All outdoor Memorials are open but do not have restroom facilities.

The privately owned Museums noted with an * do require an entrance fee.

On Saturday January 19, 2019 OTT DC will be closed for day tours due to the 2019 Annual Women’s March on Washington. Night tour runs normally.
