We designed our Old Town Trolley tour specially for people that want a top-rated tour with less crowds. Experience over 230 years of history as your expert tour conductor relates the iconic stories, sights and landmarks of our Nation’s Capital! Arlington National Cemetery is an enduring tribute to those who’ve dedicated their lives to defending the ideals of our nation. A visit here will leave an indelible impression on your spirit. In addition, cruise down the Potomac River with direct routes between the Wharf, National Harbor, Georgetown and Old Town Alexandria.
Join us aboard our custom-built Stadium Trolleys featuring stadium seating where every view is a great one.
The Trolley will make one (1) stop along the tour route at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial. While off the trolley, you can visit the Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. You will have 30 minutes to take in the breathtaking views while your guide and the trolley wait for you to continue with their narration upon your return.
During the tour you also see other major sites around the Nation’s Capital, such as… the White House, Washington Monument, United States Capitol Building, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, Union Station, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, and the Smithsonian Museums. Be prepared for some really great photo opportunities.
A vacation to Washington D.C. would not be complete without visiting Arlington National Cemetery. Spread across 624 acres of rolling hills and beautiful gardens, this historic landmark is about 4 times the size of the National Mall and offers an exclusive tour service for guests looking to see the entire property in a manageable amount of time. Daily tours begin at the Welcome Center. A loop gives visitors the chance to hop on and off at a variety of key points of interest. Don’t miss your opportunity to experience one of the most informative and awe-inspiring tours in Washington D.C.
*To get to Arlington National Cemetery from the Washington Welcome Center, take the Metro Blue Line from Washington Metro Station (it is a three minute walk from the Welcome Center to the Station.) The Metro stops right at Arlington National Cemetery.
All US guests must provide a State or Government Issued picture ID. Visitors 16 and 17 may present a valid school ID. All foreign guests must present a PASSPORT. Foreign ID Cards will not be accepted.
Cruise down the Potomac River with direct routes between the Wharf, National Harbor, Georgetown and Old Town Alexandria. Beverages can be purchased on board. Transportation to/from pier. These cruises are more relaxed and casual attire is fine. First come; first served seating. The boat is fully enclosed and climate-controlled with restrooms located on board. Cruise will operate seasonally in most weather conditions. In the case of severe weather conditions or upon direction of the U.S. Coast Guard, the cruises will be postponed.
**Boarding for the Water Taxi is at the DC Wharf. This is a 5-minute walk from the Waterfront Metro on the Green Line or an 8-minute walk from L’Enfant Plaza on the Blue, Orange, Silver, Green or Yellow Lines Metro Stations. There is also a free shuttle to the Wharf from L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station.

Tour departs from Washington Welcome Center, 1001 E Street NW.

April 1 – September 30: The Changing of the Guard will be every 30 minutes, at the top and bottom of every hour. Social distancing limits will be in place at the Amphitheater.
Limited tours run from 9am – 4pm daily. They depart every hour on the hour. If guests disembark, there will be an hour wait for the next vehicle.
Cemetery hours are 8-5 p.m.
There are 4 stops: JFK Gravesite, JJ Pershing Gravesite, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Arlington House.
Memorial Amphitheater and Iwo Jima remain closed to the public.
No weekend route currently available.
Large groups and buses are prohibited at the present time. There is no bus parking available.
