Women Military Service Memorial

The Women in Military Service for America Memorial is the only one of its kind in the nation. It honors all women who have served in America’s armed forces past, present and future. The inside of the memorial is a museum exhibiting women’s efforts in the American Revolution to our nation’s most recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. The upper terrace of the memorial provides a beautiful view of the Lincoln Memorial and Memorial Drive. The glass panels are etched with quotes from service women.
