Boston’s New Year Festival
This family friendly festival kicks off the New Year. Featuring a countdown (December 31st) with pyrotechnics, fireworks, and live entertainment. Some kids activities include dance lessons, face painting, and arts and crafts.
New Year’s Day Swim
Run into cold Boston Harbor to celebrate the new year at New Year’s Day Swim. It is an over 100-year-old event, sponsored by the City of Boston and L Street Brownies (the oldest “polar bear” club). You must come pre-dressed as locker rooms aren't open till after the swim.
Revels Twelfth Night Celebration
Enjoy music, dancing, a mummer’s play and a visit from Father Christmas. All at the 9th annual Twelfth Night Celebrations! Tickets are still available for the 1:00pm show. Ticket prices are $20 for adults and children (11 and under) are $7.00.
Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute
This annual event brought to you by the Museum of African American History and the Mayor's office of arts and culture is a celebration tribute and concert for Martin Luther King Jr. Seating is free, however it’s first come first serve for seating and doors open at 12pm.
