Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum

The Boston Tea Party was “the single most important event leading up to the American Revolution.” It is dedicated to telling the story of that fateful night of December 16, 1773. By combining cutting edge interactive technology with live historical performances, the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum offers an experience like no other.

EFFECTIVE, August 7th 2021, and in alignment with the other museums in Boston, the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum will require face coverings for ALL museum guests ages 5 years and older for the duration of their visit. This is in accordance with recent CDC recommendations that fully vaccinated people wear face coverings in public indoor settings in areas of “substantial” or “high” transmission.   • We will have hand sanitizer available for your use as you board and disembark the vehicle. Please utilize this dispenser for the safety of you and those around you.
  • We’re enhancing our cleaning procedures at our sales depots and encourage guests to use cashless transactions.
  • Based on the CDC, it is recommended that people who are operating or are a passenger of a vehicle that is part of a Transportation Network Company, wear a mask at all times.
