Museum Month in San Diego
Each February, in San Diego County, an entire month is dedicated to promoting our museums as the arts & culture organizations celebrate Museum Month. More than 45 participating arts institutions and museums in our county will offer admission at half price. The Museum Month pass, needed to obtain half price admission, is available, free of charge, at all San Diego County Macy’s stores beginning February.
Super Run 10K & 5K Run/Walk
Both courses begin & finish in South Shores Park. 10K runs along SeaWorld Drive and bike path to Ingram Street to Crown Point Park & returns. 5K will share part of 10K course along SeaWorld Drive and on sidewalks along the bay and returns to the Park.
Eric Paredes Save A Heart Save A Life 5K
Join us for a 5K, with proceeds supporting the Screen Your Teen program and our mission to prevent Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). It will truly be a life-saving experience, as proceeds underwrite free heart screenings and CPR/AED training for youth, as well as AEDs for schools and youth centers.

Lunar New Year Festival
The SDCCU Lunar New Year Festival attracts over 30,000 guests from across San Diego County and offers a fusion of Asian food stations, unique vendor booths, carnival rides, non-stop live entertainment (including lion dances, concerts, and the much anticipated "Miss Asia" Beauty Pageant) as well as a highly acclaimed "Cultural Village" featuring breathtaking artistic reconstructions of iconic sculptures, buildings and landscapes from across South-East Asia.
Mermaid San Diego Run 5K, 10K & Half Marathon
This running and walking event is designed specifically for women who are looking for a supportive exercise experience. Women can choose between a 5K, 10K, or a Half Marathon. There are scenic views along the shoreline of Mission Bay and Fiesta Island.
Hillcrest Mardi Gras
The original Hillcrest Mardi Gras returns with an all-new neighborhood carnival experience! Bring out your mask and invite your krewe! Hillcrest will be tossing out the beads and doubloons while the food and drinks are flowing throughout the entire neighborhood – in true New Orleans Mardi Gras style!
Big Easy Bites & Booze Tour
This tasting event with a New Orleans touch is set to take you on a tantalizing tour of delicious Mardi Gras inspired bites and sinful sips throughout Downtown San Diego. Indulge the offerings from 20 hotspots all while collecting BEADS, BEADS, and more BEADS just in time to deck yourself out for Fat Tuesday. Tickets for this delicious self-guided stroll start at just $25!
Chinese New Year Celebration – Year of the Dog
It's the Year of the Dog! A celebration of the Chinese New Year will take place in the late evening to early morning in the Mid-City area of San Diego. The celebration presents traditional Chinese music, good cheer, and the flash and crackle of fireworks and a performance of the Dragon Dance. Times: Thursday at 11:00am & Friday at 12:30pm.
Hillcrest Car Show

Mardi Gras San Diego Run
With a Mardi Gras theme, this athletic event offers a family friendly half marathon, 10K, 5K, and a Kids Dash. All finishers who complete the course will get a medal Participants are sure to enjoy the bay views along the flat paved course.

TCT International Art Festival
The Falun Dafa Assocation San Diego Branch presents the Truth, Compassion, Tolerance International Art Exhibit once a month between February and June.
