Hi! My name is Erica. I was born the youngest of seven children in Mexico City and lived there for a few years before moving to St, Louis, Missouri. Although I have spent every summer of my life in Coronado, my family officially moved there in 1991. I graduated from Coronado High School Class of ’94 and then pursued my college education at San Diego State University. After two years at State I decided to try something completely different so I moved to Barbados which is a tiny little island in the Caribbean. I spent the next two years of my life owning/operating a beach bar & restaurant on the shore of the Caribbean Sea. This, amidst all of the hard work, was a great learning experience! After suffering from homesickness I moved back home to San Diego in ’98. Later that year is when I started with Old Town Trolley as a “summer job” until I went back to school in the fall. 10 years later… I’m still here and I can say that I truly love my job; I have fun and enjoy everyone I work with!

I was born in Concord, New Hampshire and very fortunate to be part of a set of twin boys. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Communications and after graduation followed the sun to San Diego. My first job was at Sea World for the summer and then I worked as a Concierge at The Sheraton Harbor Island for almost 10 years. I also served as the President of The San Diego Concierge Association for two years as well. I have been with Old Town Trolley Tours for 9 years and can honestly say that I love my job and truly enjoy coming to work every day!

A summer visit to San Diego 20 years ago and I fell in love with the city. I’ve been a resident going on 17 years now. I was born in Des Moines, Iowa but grew up in the hot desert of Tucson, Arizona. In high school I was involved in numerous singing groups and practiced magic as a hobby. These days I like to spend time with friends being outdoors working in the yard and landscaping. Doing anything creative! I also love nature. Oh yeah and my big black cat, Bishop, too!

I am a native of Nebraska, and have lived in San Diego for more than 30 years. I first came here when I joined the Navy fresh out of high school. Serving almost four years, I decided to stay in this city that I came to love. Entering an apprenticeship program, I worked in the printing industry for the next several decades. By 2002, technology changed the career focus to starting a new job outlook at mid-life. An aspiring writer, I continue work on Great American Novels. I am certain that my storytelling abilities, powers of observation, and love of working with people will infuse my Old Town Trolley SEAL Tour-and that it, in turn, will enhance my writing. I am an active outdoors man. I love to ski, surf, and hike. My wife Beth and I camp and whitewater raft together. I have three children and eight grandchildren.

Born and raised in the city of brotherly love (Philadelphia). Started my maritime career in the United States Coast Guard as a ships navigator. After an honorable discharge, I sat for my captains license returning to Philadelphia. Working for several companies including Spirit Cruises, Ride the Ducks, and a few off shore oil companies, I fell in love with the concept of tourism and it fit my natural innate ability to play well with others. I moved to America’s Finest City in 2006, bounced throughout the state for five years and returned to San Diego in 2012, where I started working for Old Town Trolley Tours and SEAL Tours.

Born outside of Chicago, Illinois – moved to San Diego at age 4 and never looked back. After 30 years in the automobile and truck rental industry, I came to Old Town Trolley as a Conductor in 1999. In addition to driving the City Tour, I also served as a Ghost Host, Script Development/Documentation Researcher, and Trainer on my way to becoming the full time Safety Officer. Since about 1985, my spare time has been spent maintaining and sailing Tall Ships, including the world’s oldest active sailing ship “Star of India”, the official tall ship for the state of California, the “Californian”, and a representation of a vessel from R.H. Dana’s ‘Two Years Before the Mast’, the “Pilgrim”.
