san diego seal tours ticketThe exciting San Diego SEAL Tours take a fascinating turn and drive straight into the San Diego Bay for the second half of your adventure! Gliding past resident San Diego sea lions, a few California brown pelicans and several other wildlife species that make the bay their home, the SEAL Tour becomes a San Diego harbor tour— without you ever having left your seat!

Once in the water, The SEAL takes you on a leisurely cruise where you can witness the magnificence of the water, various San Diego attractions including Point Loma with its beautiful mansions lining the hillside, the North Island Naval Air Station – one of the largest repair facilities for fighter jets, Point Loma Submarine Base, the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, the Marine Mammal Training Center, Shelter Island and much more. Learn about San Diego’s interesting maritime past and present including the tuna industry and the importance of the military in the city.

 

On land, you will pass the Embarcadero and San Diego International Airport, which is dedicated to famous aviator Charles Lindbergh.

Once you splash into the Big Bay you will glide by Navy ships, tugboats and fishing vessels throughout the harbor as you listen to stories of early sailors. Not only will you experience the history and picturesque scenery of “America’s Finest City,” you will also get an up close encounter with San Diego’s California sea lions and other natural wildlife!

They are equipped with a marine VHF radio and other United States Coast Guard required safety equipment making our fleet not only the safest in the industry but the most fun you can have on the water as well as the land in San Diego.
