San Diego County Fair at the Del Mar Fair Grounds
Rock 'n' Roll Marathon
The marathon consists of a 26.2 mile foot-race, a half marathon, and a post race concert at the end of the route. 20+ bands will play live music along the course. The races feature a revamped half marathon course and unveiled a new finish line at waterfront Park for the 2016 event. The marathon and half marathon will continue to start in Balboa Park, with both distances starting together at 6:15am. The half marathon course highlights include: A Balboa Park Start Line, a city tour under the iconic Hillcrest, North Park, Mission Hills, and Normal Heights signs, and a downhill finish to the end at the Waterfront Park.
26th Annual Rancho Bernardo Alive! Expo
Rancho Bernardo is alive with the sights and sounds of a grand festival! There's continuous entertainment by musicians and performers; plus a Business Showcase, Cultural Center, Food Court, and Kids Zone. You can come for health screenings, shop for merchandise, or enjoy games and rides.
Saint Spyridon Church Greek Festival 3-day Event
This Greek festival offers a friendly atmosphere of lively music and dancing, wine & spirits, delicious Greek foods and tempting pastries. You can shop for imported merchandise that you might not find anywhere else. Tours of the Saint Spyridon Church are also offered. Friday: 5:00pm-10:00pm; Saturday & Sunday: 11:00am–1:00pm.

Parkinson's Step by Step
Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder that affects the sensory motor systems of movement and coordination. Proceeds from this 5K walk and fun run will benefit programs and services for persons afflicted with the disease through the Parkinson's Association of San Diego.
15th Annual Beer & Sake Festival
The Beer & Sake Festival offers a wide variety of Japanese sakes & beers, local craft beers, appetizers from local restaurants, and great entertainment. This year’s featured entertainer is world-renowned ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro. Guests will also enjoy the dynamic sounds of San Diego Taiko. Proceeds from the Beer & Sake Festival support JSSDT educational and community outreach programs.
Annual Old House Fair
If you're planning to restore an older home or spruce up a newer one, this event is for you. Local craftsmen and community businesses that specialize in the repair, remodel, and preservation of homes will be there. 38th Annual Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off
This popular beachside festival has it all! Just follow the aroma of hot chili and the sounds of rock, blues, and jazz to streets lined with booths containing food and merchandise nestled along Antique Row. There are contests, games, rides, a beer garden, skateboard demonstrations, and a lot more.
