Hop aboard one of our trolleys and you’ll experience Transportainment, a delightful combination of transportation and entertainment. Our friendly conductors narrate the San Diego tour with a fascinating and fun mix of trivia and humorous stories. It will be our pleasure to guide you through the birthplace of California on one of our orange and green trolleys.
Old Town Trolley Tours is the best way to see the city. Because we showcase the best of San Diego and Coronado, you can avoid costly parking and city driving. The tour is also designed so that you can hop on and off and explore on your own at any time. With frequent pickups at all our stops, this helps you avoid walking long distances.
Free admission to Maritime Museum**/Star of India
The world-renown Maritime Museum of San Diego was founded in 1948 by a group of local historians and maritime experts. Here, visitors from around the globe come to walk the decks of the magnificent Star of India, the world’s oldest active sailing ship. The Maritime Museum of San Diego is devoted to exposing all ages to Maritime history and offers both permanent and temporary exhibits throughout the year. The museum is also known for restoring, maintaining and operating historic vessels and has what is considered to be one of the finest collections of historic ships. Included in the collection are the 1898 steam ferry Berkeley, the 1904 steam yacht Medea, the 1914 Pilot and the Californian, which is a replica of a mid 19th century revenue cutter.

Swift or Pilot Boat Bay Tour
Enjoy a 75-minute narrated tour aboard Swift Boat PCF816. Feel the history and power of the twin 12 cylinder Detroit Diesels as you take a behind-the-scenes tour of San Diego Bay’s military history. Tour route heads under Coronado Bay Bridge, Naval Base San Diego, and then Naval Amphibious Base.
