With more than a century in the making, the Whaley House holds an impressive amount of San Diego heritage, from the time of old west prospectors to the flourishing of Old Town as the heart of California. Recognized as the oldest two-story brick-structure south of Monterey California, the Whaley House features magnificent Greek Revival architecture along with an unrivaled historical timeline encompassing San Diego’s second County courthouse, a lively theatre, a charming general store, and a prominent family home. Interpret tales of unanswered crimes, puzzling tragedies, eternal sorrow, and mysterious legends that surround the grounds. The world-renown Maritime Museum of San Diego was founded in 1948 by a group of local historians and maritime experts. Here, visitors from around the globe come to walk the decks of the magnificent Star of India, the world’s oldest active sailing ship. The Maritime Museum of San Diego is devoted to exposing all ages to Maritime history and offers both permanent and temporary exhibits throughout the year. The museum is also known for restoring, maintaining and operating historic vessels and has what is considered to be one of the finest collections of historic ships. Included in the collection are the 1898 steam ferry Berkeley, the 1904 steam yacht Medea, the 1914 Pilot and the Californian, which is a replica of a mid 19th century revenue cutter.

  • Clear plexi panels have been installed at ticket sales depots and between the driver and guests.
  • Our vehicles are cleaned between each tour at key touch points with an EPA-approved disinfectant.
  • All of our vehicles undergo a deep cleaning procedure.
  • We’re enhancing our cleaning procedures at our sales depots and encourage guests to use cashless transactions.
  • We provide face masks to our team members.
  • Guests are required to wear face covering aboard the trolley and within 6’ of others.
  • Our cleaning practices meet or exceed all CDC guidelines.
