Located beneath the Coronado Bridge in San Diego’s Barrio Logan, Chicano Park was established in 1970. It features the largest concentrated collection of outdoor Chicano murals in the world, depicting Mexican-American civil rights struggles, indigenous iconography, and cultural heritage. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 2016, the park serves as an active cultural hub and enduring monument to grassroots community activism.
