Old Town Trolley Tours of St. Augustine has developed an exciting school tour program that highlights the rich history of the nation’s oldest city and brings your Florida History lessons to life. The program is curriculum based and designed to link field trip experiences with state standards. Each teacher will receive a 16-page activities booklet (in PDF format) that is filled with resource material for classroom and field trip activities, including pre and post trip exercises. This resource booklet, designed by a curriculum specialist, will facilitate in class discussions of your field trip experiences.

Our popular St. Augustine Field Trip brings students into contact with some of the most important and exciting historical sites and museums in St. Augustine. The tour is designed to link classroom lessons with living history experiences. The program includes a guided tour of the Castillo de San Marcos, and your choice of the following museums: the Authentic Old Jail, the Oldest Store Museum Experience, the Florida History Museum or Potter’s Wax Museum. A trolley tour, narrated by one of our specially trained and certified conductors, will cover over 400 years of history and 100 points of interest. All of your tours are conducted privately for your group. With time for lunch, the educational tour takes about 5 hours. Additional historic sites can be added, as your schedule and budget allow.

Reservations
We realize it is difficult for teachers to take the time out of their busy schedule to make extended telephone calls. Contact one of our friendly educational specialists at your convenience, tell us your needs, and we will develop a custom itinerary for you. We will email or fax you a field trip confirmation and other information so that you can review everything at your convenience.
Teaching Tools
Each participating class will receive a 16-page activities book sent via email as a PDF file. Pre and post trip activities provide you with educational materials that also entertain. All materials were created by curriculum specialists and are based on Florida Sunshine Standards.
Bus Parking
Free bus parking and public restrooms are available to groups using our services.
Need Lunch?
We can provide boxed lunches for your group (Subway, Old City Subs and Five Star Pizza or Chick-Fil-A) or you can pack your own lunch and use our picnic tables on site.
