Give yourself at least 2 hours to enjoy all the attractions at this stop. Tour Old Town Historic State Park to see many of the oldest structures in the city, including original adobe homes that date back to the early 1800s, the Old Town Market and Casa de Aguirre. Also, be sure to check out the infamous Whaley House, an iconic Greek Revival home. The house is not only historically significant to the city for many reasons, but is also known as the most haunted house in America.

USS Midway MuseumStop C

Check out the Maritime Museum and the Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum. Both offer a unique look at San Diego’s maritime and military history and a chance to see some of our country’s most historic vessels, including the Star of India and the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier. You’ll also be very close to the popular Seaport Village where you can grab a snack, pick up a souvenir and enjoy watching the boats sailing the harbor.

 

Hotel del CoronadoStop I

Witness the gorgeous views of downtown San Diego from across the bay in Coronado. At the Coronado Ferry Landing, there are a bunch of specialty shops, art galleries, restaurants and a nice beach. Make sure to see the magnificent Hotel del Coronado. Opened in 1888, it is one of the most famous spots in the city, having played host to 10 American Presidents, numerous celebrities and prestigious guests throughout its 100+ year history.

 

Balboa ParkStop J

After an exciting day of discovering many of San Diego’s most well-known and historic sights, this stop packs an abundance of whimsical fun as well as cultural interest. Spend some time at Balboa Park, home to the world-famous San Diego Zoo, more than a dozen San Diego museums and a variety of restaurants and entertainment venues. You can easily spend an entire weekend at the Zoo so use you’re time wisely here.

There is so much to see in San Diego.
